A War for Southern Independence
Around 258,000 confederate soldiers died in the war. The Ambassadors for Thomas Jackson respect and honor the fact most of the people in the southern states felt strongly that they were fighting for pride, honor and principle. We acknowledge that to this day there remains controversy about some of the rights and wrongs of events that were carried out by both sides.
